6-APDB chemical’s formal name is; 6-(2-Aminopropyl)-2,3-dihydrobenzofuran, and its IUPAC listing is 1-(2,3-dihydro-1-benzofuran-6-yl)propan-2-amine. Its molecular formula is C11H15NO. 6-APDB acts as a stimulant and an entactogen. It belongs to the amphetamine and phenethylamine classes.
This chemical is an MDA analog, which is created by using a methylene bridge to replace the heterocyclic 4-position oxygen in the 3,4-methylenedioxy ring.
6-APDB has been around since the early 1990s, and was synthesized by David E. Nichols while he was looking into MDMA analogs which are non-neurotoxic.
So far its been found that in animal studies, this chemical is the perfect substitute for MBDB and MMAI, although it does not work as a substitute for LSD or amphetamine.
In vitro, this product is known to act as a serotonin, norepinephrine and dopamine reuptake inhibitor. It is recommended that researchers wear all of the necessary safety gear while working with this product. And as with all of our chemicals it is not for human consumption.
